Reef Life is a comprehensive marine identification application available on the iOS platform, now featuring 2,435 fully documented and professionally photographed species across 17 categories.

Designed for divers, snorkelers, and aquarium enthusiasts, Reef Life not only serves as an identification tool but also provides valuable insights into various saltwater creatures.

One of the key features of Reef Life is its inclusion of GPS coordinates for over 200 oceanic regions and sub-regions, simplifying the species identification process based on specific locations:

<li>You can choose from 31 pre-defined menu-based regions such as "Caribbean Sea," "Australia Tropical," or "West Coast United States" to explore species unique to each location.</li>
<li>Utilize the interactive map to drop pins on desired locations, enabling tailored species searches that can be saved for future reference.</li>
<li>Additionally, an option to view species in your current location provides immediate access to marine life around you.</li>
</ul>

Furthermore, users can now contribute their own species to the app by adding details and images, as well as editing or updating information related to user-created entries.

For users with 3D Touch functionality, accessing features and utilizing the new "zoom view" feature on image pages has been made more efficient. Users can zoom into specific points on images by pressing the desired location.

Reef Life offers customizable viewing options, allowing users to switch between list view format and grid view based on their preferences, streamlining the species identification process.

Prioritizing marine life conservation and education, Reef Life includes two extensive sections comprising over 50 pages devoted to educational resources and conservation matters.

Notably, this application is self-contained and does not require an internet connection, catering to the needs of scuba divers in remote or boat-based dive locations.
